The pressure exerted by blood upon the blood vessel wall while it flows through it is known as blood pressure.
Normal blood pressure - 120/80mmHg
If the pressure is more than normal blood pressure called Hypertension.
Systolic pressure - when heart contracts and blood passes through arteries and exerted a pressure on arteries called systolic pressure kahte hain
Diastolic pressure - the blood pressure, measures the pressure in the arteries when the heart rests between the 2 beats.

If the hypertension is without any prper cause called primary/essential hypertension. Primary hypertension develops in particular age.
If hypertension is due to any disease called secondary hypertension, as for example kidney problem, thyroid problem, adrenal gland ka tumour. Secondary hypertension achanak hota hai.
